NASA to declare life on Mars tomorrow?

Might be a bit premature without further investigation, wouldn't it?

Also, isn't The Sun a tabloid?

Yes, but it's posted by the "DailyTech Ace Reporter" sjwaste, so it must be true! 😛

My fault, I forgot that all tabloids have that one legit reporter.

Man, can't wait to get some sort of mars flu next year.

This. Also, every time nasa makes any announcement, reporters breathlessly speculate that "nasa discovered life on mars!" and then it turns out to be "we found some new, slightly colder ice. That is all..."

..I hear they have pictures of the remnant remains of a vehicle license plate they found up there.

Hah, they fail at their "facts" about Mars.
EARTH is 93million miles away from the sun, 135million miles closer than Mars.
Nope. Earth is about 50 million miles* from the Sun. 135 million miles is around

And please...
MARS does outdo us when it comes to satellites. It has two against our one ? the moon.
The moons are somewhere around 6 miles and 11 miles wide. Oh wow.

The Sun...what next, is Spirit going to snap pictures of Batboy?

*- stupid mistake on my part, the correct stuff follows. And The Sun's info is still incorrect. 😛

No, we're 93 million miles from the sun... 147 million kilometers.

?
Ok?

Earth's distance to the Sun: 93M miles.
Mars' distance to the Sun: 141M miles
Difference: 48M miles.
The quote says that Earth is 135M miles closer.

48 != 135

Edit: Ah, sorry, I see the stupid thing I did. I have no idea where that 50 million miles thing came from. 😱

I was probably thinking of the difference in distance. Oops.
Geez, and it looks like I just stopped mid-sentence there, too. Oh look, a birdie outside the window!!!

But the point stands. Their "fact" is written incorrectly, as I attempted to convey.
