Nas ssd cache question

Hey I have a Synology ds1817+. Right now I have 6 (8TB) Wd red drives. Synology has a ssd m.2 adapter that hold 2 m.2 sdd for cache. My question is since I only use the nas to stream my blu ray movies to my media players(no more than 3 people use it at the same time in the house rarely ever 3) would I benefit from putting one in my Nas or would this be a waste of money? The Nas has 8GB of ram installed. My media players are Dune 4k Solos. There are 2 folders that get accessed a lot. My Yadis and Zappiti folder which contain the indexes for the movies with all the cover art etc ect.

Thanks for any help.

I don't think so. Others may have a contrary opinion.

I do SSD-caching (of HDDs) on two systems in my signature below. I absolutely avoid caching an HDD that stores media content -- specifically, movie files -- Blu Ray or otherwise. First, it shouldn't have an impact in performance, and second, those types of files will simply waste the cache, get written into it and soon pushed out of it.
