Kweli hasn't put anything good out since the work he did on black star. The Roots haven't done anything good since Things Fall Apart.
fixed, but 'eardrum' sounds promising. im liking 'listen' and 'more or less' (more hi tek production kweli!!!)

im with you on the roots comment. ill still listen to em', but yeah, tfa was nice.

Well, black starr and reflection eternal are two of my all time favorites. Didn't Reflection Eternal come out well after Black Starr?

Pretty much every roots album before, and including TFA was very good. After that though... weaksauce

EDIT: What are these tracks you mention, is kweli coming out with something new?

In a place full of computer nerds I simply cannot believe no one has mentioned Network Attached Storage.

Hell, Eminem is better than Nas.

their style are different. I enjoy both, em more so, but I liked NAS's old stuff more.

Illmatic, not to mention classic appearances on The Infamous and Cuban Linx, Nas is definitely up there in the top 5.

i apologize, yes black star was before reflection eternal. but yes, both great albums. and yes, tfa was great. but then malik b disappeared and scott storch went off to produce pop and there went that.

and yep, talib has a couple new tracks for an album coming out in november. 'listen' (produced by kwame) is a reaaaaaally nice track as is 'more or less' (produced by hi tek). seems like the talib of old and i for one cannot wait.
