Two of my NAS units have two 1Gbe ports and poking around in setup I notice there is an option to bond them, how to best wire that into my network?

I use a Archerc7 router with iirc one line to the cable modem, and 4 ports for internal network, which feed I think one PC directly and rest through dumb switches.

Not going to work on that archer 7. Are you actually saturating gigabit?

Rarely, but yes, and I haven't done anything to optimize speed yet. Mostly I was think about using it for NAS to NAS backups, which will be 5 to 10 TB or more.

Maybe run the second NIC to the second NIC on the second NAS?

Thanks

Direct connection between the nas would work better, but you'll have to set static ip on them.

I found a 16 port semi smart switch on Amazon and bought it, so my only missing link is a dual port or second port on my PC. I started a new thread related to just that.
