NAS enclosure recommendations?

Looking to get a HDD enclosure that will act as NAS and also have either firewire or USB 2 support and be able to hold a 400-500gb sata or IDE HDD. Anyone have any recommendations?

Are there any out there that support ATA100+ -- i've seen a couple that are ATA33 :S

Build your own. You can get cheap CPU/mobo/ram combo at Tigerdirect for less than $100 often. And the good thing with building your own, is that you can have RAID1 or RAID5 (i think it's insane to store 500GB and not have some sort of backup or parity system)... and you can easily expand the storage. You can make it wired, or you can make it wireless... you can have it running Windows or Linux.

I'm looking for more of a portable solution that I can take to work and back home
