NAS device or fileserver?

I just ran a quick test on the single-drive 250GB FreeNAS box I have kicking around. (P3/733, 512MB, motherboard doesn't support large drives, so FreeNAS is handling that.) Results totally unscientific, run on an OC'ed Mobile Celeron, with a 40GB Seagate Cuda IV drive.

Copied a 512MB file in just under a minute (~68Mbps)
Copied eight 32MB files in about 1m05s (~63Mbps)

Oh, and I just realized that I was playing MP3s from the NAS while I was doing this. 😛 😀
