Still, would anyone here be willing to foot the ~$10/month bill to DL whatever you want with the new Napster come summertime?
I think I'd consider it.

This is ridiculous, I wonder if the RIAA realizes they are wasting all their time and money on a technology that they cannot keep from evolving?

gnutella is a protocol, not an application.

a gnutella client uses the gnutella protocol to exchange files.
bearshare is imo the best example of a gnutella client.

i use napster mostly for stuff you can't get anywhere in the US like humorous soundclips, asian music, and recordings.
people can get around the block by renaming the files
