Napster and Ipod

Okay, well I just got a 15 gig ipod. But the prices on Itunes are crazy, 99 cents a song. Napster is way better, being only 15 bucks a month for unlimited. Okay so I got the free trial with Napster. Now, how do I put the songs which I download on napster to put them on my ipod. The napster files are wma and it says it cannot convert because its protected. Is there so way to play it on an ipod. If any of you know what is happening then just try to help me out here. Thanks!

From what I hear, the iPod uses a different file protection type for the files than what napster media files offers, therefore the files won't play.

"Apple's iPod is the only device that supports FairPlay, the proprietary digital-rights management (DRM) scheme employed by Apple's iTunes music store...And if you DO own an iPod, don't bother shopping at the now-legit Napster, because the iPod doesn't support the DRM scheme that's present in Windows Media Audio files." - Maximum PC Magazine, March 2005 issue
