Napping at Work?

Do you guys nap at work?
I'm only asking because I'm butt-tired and want to sneak a nap in.

Trying to figure out a way to run out for a powernap. I finished all my work so I'm just staring at the monitor right now.
:frown:

I fell asleep at work at few months back. Apparently there's a picture floating around the office of it that no one told me about until recently.

LMAO! You have to get a copy of it and post it! 😀

I don't nap at work and I have no tolerance for those who I catch.

If comes up to me and says "Look, I had a bad headache that kept me up last night. Would it be OK if I went into the conference room and just caught a half-hour of sleep? I'll stay a half-hour later to make up the time", I'm fine with that, because the person told me and they aren't sneaking around. But when I catch someone, I just assume they do it all the time and weren't caught before.

I caught my boss in a post-lunch nap once 🙂.

I usually opt for the mid-afternoon code red as opposed to napping. Too many people come up here to my desk needing stuff

My roomate did that once. He fell alseep in our dorm room in one of the lazy boys with the door propped open. One of my friends walked by, saw him, ran and unthawed a hot dog and posed my roomate with them and took pictures.

Lol, I never knew people took naps at work since in school all we get is a lunch break and thats it. Ah, oh well, there are plenty of classes to sleep through. 🙂 hehe, thankfully, there are always a few easy classes based on common sense every year...

Dude, who has time to nap at work? Or at least where I work. I'm lucky to get all my work done in the 8 hours alloted per day. Some days I don't succeed and I'm here 10-12 upwards to 16 hours a day. Who has time for a nap? I sure don't.

C'mon! I'm not that stupid. 😛

Actually, I haven't seen the picture and I don't know who owns it, but I've just been told of it's existance.

Nope. I sometimes doze off in front of the computer if I'm really tired from the night before, but otherwise I don't try to nap at work.

Nope, though one time earlier this year, I went off for lunch and drove a block away in a Sam's Club parking lot and got an hour of sleep. Made all the difference for me. 🙂

Reminds me of an experience I had in high school years ago. I was in History class and we were in a science room because ours was being renovated. Anyway, we all sitting there listening to the teacher and........nothing.... I woke up with the whole classes looking at me with the teachers staring with a smile on her and she said "Have a good sleep?" and one of the kids blurted out "Yah, you've been snoring for the last hour!" 😱

I felt so embarrased but I said "Hey, everyone does it!" and everyone just started laughing and saying "Yah, happens to the best of us!"

Good times I tell you! GOOD TIMES! 😀

If I'm that tired, I ask to go home.

Had a co-worker who didn't just sleep, he snoored... loud! He got fired.

Just feel like I need a nap to refresh myself. I probably look stoned right now.
Stupid friends kept me out last night.

yeah, at one job i do and it's not allowed
at the other I can sleep all I want as long as the ringer is high. =) Makes a great saturday/sunday morning job.
