The first time I watched it I thought it was funny, but the second time it was hilarious. I'm not sure what it is, but the movie definitely grows on you...
I just saw this film.
I have to say, for the first 30 minutes, I did not like the movie. It was really slow, and also depressing. But as it went along, it got to be pretty funny. Ultimatly, I think it was a pretty good movie. Definitely quite different than anything I've seen before.

You'll either love it or hate it...you need a certain brilliant sense of humor to really appreciate it

The whole scene where Pedro decides to shave his head is hilarious...

How much younger? I'm in my 30's and thought this was the funniest thing I saw in '04....Harold and Kumar a close 2nd, with Bubba Hotep taking 3rd

yes, i watched ND, and i must say, i dont get all the hype, unless you are pubescent..
overacted, contrived, just plain crap.
i guess if you want to make fun of people in Idaho, its an okay film...but i am sorry i spent the time watching it.

only without the sentimental value that made f&g so great.
it was ok. nothing to write home about though imo.

garden state good. especially if u take into account that braff is mid twenties and wrote/staring/directed the whole thing. some people think its a modern day graduate others just say its alright. i havent heard anyone really bash it yet.
