The first time I watched it I thought it was funny, but the second time it was hilarious. I'm not sure what it is, but the movie definitely grows on you...

I just saw this film.

I have to say, for the first 30 minutes, I did not like the movie. It was really slow, and also depressing. But as it went along, it got to be pretty funny. Ultimatly, I think it was a pretty good movie. Definitely quite different than anything I've seen before.

"At Rex Kwan Do, we use the buddy system. No more flying solo. You need somebody watching your back at all times. Second off, you're gonna learn to discipline your image. You think I got where I am today because I dressed like Peter Pan over here?"

The whole scene where Pedro decides to shave his head is hilarious...
"My head was hot".

That and the "Would you want to take a roundhouse kick to the face by someone with THESE pants on? I didn't think so".

How much younger? I'm in my 30's and thought this was the funniest thing I saw in '04....Harold and Kumar a close 2nd, with Bubba Hotep taking 3rd :D

yes, i watched ND, and i must say, i dont get all the hype, unless you are pubescent..

overacted, contrived, just plain crap.

i guess if you want to make fun of people in Idaho, its an okay film...but i am sorry i spent the time watching it.

much like open water

only without the sentimental value that made f&g so great.

Garden State is a great flick. It actually had a plot, likeable characters, a drawing in nature of the audience to the peoples lives due to the realness
