Napolean Dynamite = (almost?) WORST MOVIE EVAR!!!!

I can understand why some people don't like this movie.

It doesn't really have any point which might bother people. It also tends to move a bit slowly at certain points. It's does have some really bizarre comical moments which redeemed it for me.

It's humor is not for everybody and there are some drawn-out parts of the movie that just aren't all that funny but overall I gotta give it a thumbsup for being something different than the "cookie cutter" movies from Hollywood.

I agree. The movie was just bad. Almost funny in a couple places but it was just a horrible fvcking movie.

movie was kinda funny, got a bit too slow at a couple of points and it was really annoying, but it had some great laughs too.

I haven't seen it, and have absolutely no intention of ever doing so. My gf saw it and said it was horrible. The previews look ridiculous as well. So, I'll take your advice to heart, unless I'm feeling particularly masochistic one day

personally, i liked the idea of the character and the acting but i hated that it had no story. nothing really happened! he had no goal, no plan.

thank you, you hit it on the ball there. i mean the movie started out with me getting chuckles every now and then, and i laughed at how stupid he was and some of the stuff he did, and the uncle too was also a pretty funny character, but i guess the thing that made me the most angry about the movie is that NOTHING happened at all in the movie ... AT ALL. it was just some ATOTer walking around living his daily life.

it did have SOME funny parts, but the humor quickly gets old since there is no story at all.

so i guess i take back my saying that there are SOME funny parts in it because it did get some chuckles out of me, but i will never watch this movie ever again in my life.

hahaha yea that line got me laughing probably the most in the entire movie. as i said in a few other posts and my edited OP, the uncle was a great character. his video he showed them at the beginning was the best.

yes i watched it w/my gf as well and we both were like WTF?!? we both had the same reaction afterwards. i would have turned it off after 30 minutes, but i was waiting for something better to happen. aside from a few more laughs, nothing happened

Dude, calm down. Just accept the fact that you are closed minded and have no taste in movies. Movies don't HAVE to have a strong narrative. In fact, a lot of good movies are forsaking narratives for characterization, random humor, strong themes, or even symbolism (Hero). This may annoy you, but that's just you, the moron who can't deal with MODERN (postmodern?) STORYTELLING (entertainment, no story).
