Nano warranty

I got one of the recall nanos earlier this year and the power button on it is starting to fail. Just wondering if anyone knows the warranty length these things were given; hoping it was at least a year.

It should be a year. I'd call Apple, or go to one of their stores (but make an appointment first).

Ugh, damn thing totally failed about 10 minutes after typing this.

I actually do have a store in my area, would they do a straight swap out there or is it the same wait for a shipment as if I'd call the support number?

Now can I say apple sucks and all that good stuff.

Replacement units sent out with zero warranty coverage. So they took my unity which had not yet failed on me, for one that just makes it for half a year.....

You sure about that? I just checked the warranty on my 1st gen recall replacement:

Problem is the online data (I.e. date) for mine still shows data from my original one.

Well, set up your appointment with the Genius Bar, and take it on in. They may just replace it outright. Bring in a copy of the RMA from the whole replacement thing.
