<< No it's not my last name. Just what everyone in my platoon called me. TOW Platoon, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division. if you're wondering. >>

I stand corrected on that score, but it does not negate the fundamental issue that MANY people are named McVeigh and have been since long before the murderous slimeball did his horrible crime. If we start arguing that specific nicks should not be used because some criminal in history had the same name, we might as well nuke half the handles here.

BTW, mcveigh, thank you for your service.

Sorry but i don't see how that's a nickname, never heard of one like that. Russ for such a common name as you claim, i've never encountered anyone with it or read of one other than one person, not to say that no one else has it but it's not as common as you make it out to be. Besides you just assumed that it was a last name without doing a little looking.

Yo mama, i was refering to oldsmoboat not anyone else in that responce.

It is. It's as simple as that. Were Mcveigh a new registrant shortly after the bombing - or an individual who posted things related to the bombing in an attempt to troll for responses, then your concern might be more valid. This isn't the case here, though. It's his nickname. Leave it at that.
