I also think I've seen 'Ashley' enough for a generation or three

lessee.... ashley, ashlee, ashli, ashlie, ash, ashleigh, ashlei....

You think I'm kidding?, just looked through my 14y/o daughter's middle school (7-8 grade) yearbook. 7 different spellings of that name. I'd hate to be a teacher "Ashley!,... no, not you, that one, Me? no the one next to you". hehe

I know a couple that named their daughter Oona (pronounced like the "oo" in "oo la la"), which is kinda close to the name you mentioned. Her full name is Oona Mia Meyer...ugh.

I know another couple who named their 3 kids, Louis, Lewis and Louise. Why I have no clue.

I don't care for Dewey, Burt, Bart and Omar.

I have no clue what I would name my future children. One thing is for sure..I will make sure my future wife (If I ever get married) won't make up some weirdo names.

I hooked up with both an Ingrid and a Sophia in college, both were abover average hotness, so I dont mind those names.

 
There was a girl named Ingrid that iI went to school with and flirted with a lot but never hooked up with, after high school she hit the weights...

Oh I've got a pet peeve with a bunch of names. Here are some of them:

Jennifer
Mary Joe
Shanisha, Tonisha, Latoya, etc.
Brandy
Sandy
Sandra
Krystal or it's variations
Cheryl
Donna
 
Anything stars name their kids. Julia Roberts just had twins, and named them Hazel and Phinnaeus. Phinnaeus???? Who in the hell names their kid Phinnaeus? Only a star can get away with that crap, or that kid would get the sh!t beat out of him daily.

Also Bruce Willis and Demi Moore with the stupid name Rumer for one of their kids. Victoria and David Beckham named their kids Brooklyn and Romeo. Casey Affleck and Summer Phoenix name their kid Indiana August. Courteney Cox and David Arquette cursed their kid with Coco, sounds like a Las Vegas showgirl.

The list goes on and on and on and on. It seems to be a law that if you're a celeb, you must name your kid something ridiculous.

Oh, I forgot that one. Mica, Micah, or any variant thereof. Doesn't appeal to me at all. Better as a girl's name than a boy's name at least.
 
back in middle school, i knew a girl named Miracle. the funny part was her last name is Blowers. WTF were her parents thinking!!!???
