The member doesn't have many posts, so I don't see an inside joke between Perknose and moparacer. So here we have a mod calling another member a retard. I was under the impression that was against the rules.

Here we have just a regular old member calling someone an idiot. Nick1985 comments below him that he will be banned any minute for it.

Now it's obvious there was no vacations handed out by lack of mod comment in Stoneburner's post. I was under the impression name calling is against the rules, at least when done in a "mean" way.

I was handed a week vacation a long time ago for calling someone an asshole, and I felt this person was being a legitimate asshole, or that's at least how I remember it. Now the only difference I see here is my namecalling was a cussword, but cussing has been permitted for a long time.

I would just like some clarification on when/if name calling is okay. It can't be said it was missed because another mod posted in there handing someone a warning for mod baiting.

I hope this isn't taken as a call out thread of any sort of anything negative because it's not.

He banned the returning troll punchkin and the troll sign up on another account afterwards which I banned. It had nothing to do with any comments made.
