Such people are parasites off society as a whole and seek to drain it for their own personal gain. They espouse the lie that they work to serve society as a whole when in actuality they seek to force society to conform to their own view of the world and rarely live up to the example themselves.

Artists and engineers create wealth, lawyers and politicians redistribute it.

In his novel 'The Afghan', Frederick Forsyth gives a pretty good rundown of the differences between fundamentalism and extremism. My point was that while some of the people here "hold in utmost contempt" the careers of others, I do not. I hold in contempt people who make blanket statements about politicians, lawyers, cops, whathaveyou. People should stop whining about that kind of crap.
