I think this was on a Rock station, but the guitars had a country/beloved patriot tonk sound to them...but it was more of a rock sound.
The lead vocalist was telling a story, then he sang, told more of the story, etc...
He was talking about how he went to a restaurant named "Eat" to get a hamburger....realized there was no ketchup on the burger and asked the guy sitting next to him for some....he looked down and saw a green hand with the bottle in it....and he then noticed he was sitting next to a martian. He then asked what the martian had sitting in front of him....the martian said, "These are martian cigarettes....do you want to try one?" He tried one and 30 minutes later, the martain asked him how he felt....then he went off on some pretty cool guitar work and wild singing....
Anyone ever heard anything like that? I'd like to figure out who it is so I can listen to the whole thing from start to finish at least once. It's not the kind of song you could listen to over and over without getting tired of it fast. Thanks-
