Everything I ate today is here:

1) Bagel this morning
2) 2 large iced teas unsweetened, one large hot tea @ Panera
3) Tuna sandwich on honey wheat, with Onions, Lettuce, Honey Mustard, and Mayo
4) Apple

Felt like crap after #2,#3,and #4 - which were all consumed pretty much at the same time (well, within the same hour)

List ALL the veggies that went on your fajita.

Uhm, I didn't even think about it, but I eat onions like a mad man. It's my favorite. Possible that could be the culprit? I ate it that day, and I also ate them today.

To find a food allergy, you have to CAREFULLY control your diet. Anything that you don't personally make yourself will typically have a myriad of ingredients that looks like a chemistry set. Even simple stuff like bread has a handful of ingredients. I ate really clean for a week and then started introducing stuff. I made every single meal at home and kept it simple - fruits, veggies, meat. Everything counts, even the butter you put on the pan to fry something. That was part of what made my dairy allergy so difficult to track down...even if something is simply cooked in butter, it makes me sick. It's super easy to overlook little things like that. I basically stopped eating out at restaurants and I feel great all the time now lol.

Typically something that you eat a lot of and crave has a high potential of being a food allergy. I used to drink more milk than water. Literally. I probably drank a gallon a day. I had chocolate (milk chocolate), cheese (pizza etc.), and so on all the time. My friend's roommate ate popcorn all the time; it turned out she was allergic to corn - her migraines went away. So it's definitely a possibility!

Edit: Like I mentioned earlier, you have to carefully control your diet. Clean your body out and just drink water and basic foods. Don't eat out, cook all of your own meals at home. If it's something as basic as onions, it will probably become readily apparent to you quickly, but it could be a more complex thing like a flavoring (some people are allergic to the Red #40 Dye, or MSG, or fried foods).

I've been dealing with food allergies for years. Follow the advice of others and stop eating 3,000 things in a day and picking random catalysts for what may potentially be food allergies.

You could be allergic to a lot of things you never considered, including peanuts. There are ultimately two types of food allergies: immediate and I think latent/hidden. The former is less common and with more obvious symptoms, and the latter manifests itself with all sorts of difficulties, from sinus congestion to breathing difficulties. If I eat something to which I am allergic, my ears will start popping, ringing and I can't breathe.

So, yes, go to a doctor. They can test for immediate allergies and everything else. They might go with an ELISA test, and for that they can test to see if you have antibodies. You'll probably find you're allergic to something that's in just about everything, like peanuts.

imo

Yep, thats why I'm focusing on that. Google search for onion allergy and onion intolerance.

Also keep in mind that you may have multiple food allergies. For example, I am very allergic to milk (Type II Milk Allergy). Fried foods also bother me (terrible stomach pains). MSG and Preservatives also make me sick, especially fast foods and Chinese take-out restaurant food. It took me months to really figure out that handful of allergies because I ate different things at different times, and I had to eat every day...it's not easy to track it down but once you do it you're free. I can keep my body feeling good all day long simply by choosing to eat the right foods.

Also remember it's not the end of the world if you have a food allergy to something you really love. Dairy was difficult to give up...no more milk, cream cheese, sour cream, ice cream, cheese, milk chocolate, etc...I love pizza, especially this great little place in town...but by giving it up I've gained control of my health picture. I changed the way I deal with food, like instead of going out to eat or getting fast food I grill a lot now, so be prepared for a change but also be prepared to feel better ;)

Just treat it like a road trip...buy sandwich materials from the grocery store and slap some simple food together. Once you figure out what you're allergic to, you'll wonder how you ever lived so long feeling as crappy as you did every day. I lived with food allergies for most of my life and didn't find out until about 6 months ago what it was. So you may not have a great situation, but you could feel a lot better where you're at if you make an effort right now. Edit: Not saying that to be harsh, but you have to live in your body and I know how not-fun it is to have allergies.

Yeah exactly...my Type II Milk Allergy has both types. I get some mild reactions within a few minutes and then the heavy stuff comes about 10 hours after I eat, which made it nearly impossible to track down what I was allergic to because I'd just get sick at random times for no apparent reason. I didn't even know that food could cause allergies 10 hours later or even 24 hours later. And it's amazing how it can affect you...my immediate symptoms would be a headache, stomach cramps, and gas, but 10 hours later I'd get a migraine, stomach pains of death, diarheaa, severe anxiety, asthma, etc. Since identifying my allergies, I haven't had to use my inhaler once.

Stupid food allergies.

A friend used to have anxiety attacks when he ate out. Pretty much came out of the blue. He learned to adjust after a few weeks (when he felt one coming, he would try to relax - get some fresh air, etc.), and has not had any problems since (more than 5 years ago).

OK, here's the deal. I have some sort of "study" done.

I've been in the same hotel room for the past 4 days. Day 1 I ate at Denny's: 4 Pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 sausage links - that's it. Heart started racing, palms sweating, jittery, and a headache. Day #2, same meal, same thing. Yesterday, I had berries (blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries) pretty much all day - and I felt fine. Then, last night, I ate chicken, avacado, and onion, on whole wheat bread, and felt like crap (even though i made it myself - though the chicken was one of those store-cooked chickens).

Today, I felt fine when I woke up, and waited until 1:00 PM with still no problems (had munched on a few berries). I had the Denny's meal again, and now same "feeling" - headache, fast pulse, etc.

WTF? You've been experiencing this, people have been telling you to cut it down from so many different things and figure out the culprit. So you get the Denny's meal one day one, feel the same, then do the same fucking thing the next day. Same problem after. Still didn't get it, so you wait one day, then go back to the same Dennys meal? Food allergies can be difficult to track down, but for fucks sakes I think its safe that the Dennys meal isn't safe.

"Yesterday, I had berries (blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries) pretty much all day - and I felt fine, till that night when I shit liquid for hours". ;)

sound like your body has problem dealing with greasy foods( fajitas is greasy, tuna fish salad has mayo, Denny's food is greasy), have your gall bladder check out. people that have gall bladder problem typically have lighter colored stools.

Time for you to go to the doctor and turn your back into a pincushion.

Stab you with a grid of needles each with a specific antigen and see which causes a reaction.

One meal can not be used to determine a food allergy. You either need to be tested or use the process of elimination to determine the allergy. I highly suggest testing as process of elimination is playing Russian Roulette.

High to low blood sugar spikes? Could be some of the chemicals that are in some of the stuff you're eating.
