For a college music class (history of rock&roll or something like that) we had to listen to that and a bunch of other songs so I knew I heard it before. Had to dig through my notes though.

It wasnt as cool as it sounded. I mean we got to listen to a lot of good music and such, but we also listened to a bunch of not so good music, and were tested on it much like how this thread is. You basically had to memorize all the songs and be able to distinguish them within about 20 seconds. Easy for songs by Dylan, Rolling Stones etc. (Im a big classic rock/oldies buff) but harder to distinguish on songs youve never heard before in your life.

If the professor wasn't as dull as he was, it could have been a really amazing class. But because of that, it was only an above average one. Lots of people didnt do too well in there.

Yeah, I'm a big oldies/classic rock radio guy. That means I only know the famous stuff by the famous bands. However, recently I've started listening to more stuff and getting deeper into artists.
