Name some movies you didn't get the plot on the very first viewing?

Mission Impossible

I'll admit I was confounded by this flick when I viewed it the first time, but then I grew to love it and then hated the sequels for their cliched simplicity!

And then again, I understood Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A space odyssey at the very first viewing and loved every moment of it.

I was going to say M:I. I think I expected a more by the numbers movie so I didn't really pay attention the first time through. I only saw M:I2 and I liked it as a simple action movie but it wasn't even the same genre as the original!

Last of The Mohicans. I got really confused with all the different tribes of Indians and groups, I couldn't keep track of which were "good" and which were "bad" at first. Only after a second viewing did I really get the movie.

The Sting - It is all but impossible to understand what really happened until you watch it a second time.

Pink Floyd's The Wall

I still know people who have watched it multiple times and never figured out what the heck the plot was, or what the wall actually was.

The first time I saw it, it was, shall we say, a psychotropic experience. I understood it perfectly! :D

You're kidding, right? Wasn't that hard since it was explained completely at the end of the movie.

Ghost in the Shell 2. I haven't watched it again, so I still don't get it. On the other hand I wasn't paying much attention when I watched it.

I think it was Ocean's 11 where I basically understood the plot, but in every subsequent viewing I just noticed more and more. There's a lot of depth to the heist that is difficult to notice at first.
