I pretty much guarantee it was almost supposed to be something similar to Starship Troopers... where it's just supposed to be one big joke movie. I mean, the movie poster hanging on my wall, not to mention the title Snakes on a Plane... kind of gives that away, right? 😀
I think it was the perfect 'big name actor movie styled as a B movie' type thing.

I don't get how Starship Troopers belongs on here..it was a high budget movie ($100mm to make) and wasn't a "stupid" movie that was just intentionally bad.
