Name some great non superhero based vigilante movies here....

I still think Batman Begins was the best of the Christopher Nolan trilogy...by far.

Gran Torino was OK. There was a mix of good, bad, and terrible acting throughout. The story was good, though. That's redeeming.

Harry Brown was excruciating to watch. Tedious and boring.

Kick-Ass is terribly written. The first third of the movie was good. Then it took a stupid turn that it never came back from. Without explanation, characters change their minds and do things without reason. I can't stand movies like this.
 
I didn't list "Unbreakable" because
it's a superhero movie, but it's not based on a comic book. Now I see that people are listing other non-comic-based superhero movies...
