Name some good HD Projectors

Yeah, that's the other strategy I was thinking about. I may end up doing that. I'll try out my AE900U's lens shift with the projector to the side first before I decide on the issue.

Mitsubishi projector do have side shift.

Until I hear otherwise (mainly going off of what I hope to be some extensive Projector Central $3000 range projector reviews), the Panasonic AE4000 and the Epson 8500UB are in my mind going to be my best options based on last year's models.

I'm hoping to get a model with frame interpolation. I'm not sure I'll like it, but stuttering on slow panning really bothers me in general.

I'm waiting for some professional reviews before getting too into this, but something would really have to be a total gem for me to consider it if it lacks the frame interpolation feature.

In mean in movies. The camera does a slow to medium speed pan and it's a mega stutter-fest.

I have never seen any stutter on my HC4900...and I don't think it has any frame interpolation

Well I see it in the actual theaters as well. I guess I'm one of the sensitive people who really gets bothered by 24p playback (not that my setup at home right now does 24p).
