I think Toy Story may be a contender. It seems to have a pretty wide demographic, but it's only 12 or so years old.
 
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Charlie Brown Christmas/Thanksgiving, 10 Commandments- All 3 have yearly holiday syndication for a long assed time.

Wizard of Oz, only really big movie I've seen as a kid, well Star Wars too but theres a gender bias.

The dollar was worth a lot less in 1997 than in 1977. This list shows the highest-grossing films adjusted for inflation. Gone with the Wind is #1 and Star Wars is #2. Titanic drops to #6 on that list.

Maybe that will put your mind at ease 🙂.
