Name of this game?

I'll try my best to explain it.

Basically it is a very old PC game, (early to mid 90's). It is a futeristic sport that is very similar to hockey and soccer. Basically the object of the game is to throw a metal ball in the opposing teams goal. Unlike hockey or soccer, you use your hands. The field is like this indoor arena and I believe that some tiles have traps that randomly appear.

Anyone know the name of this game? links would be good too!

I know it's not it, but this reminds me so much of Cyberball for Genesis. That game so rocked. "Football for the 21st century" was way ahead of its time.

I think the game you are thinking of is Speedball or Speedball 2

I remember playing this game to death and it was pretty darn addictive. Its the only game i could think of that plays like indoor soccor / hockey and uses your hands that you mentioned above.

If this isnt the game you are thinking about, then i honestly dont know what that would be!

I think Hyperblade was Hockey/rollerball rather than soccer but it might be the game. It used low-res 3D.
