"I often wonder who gets it or doesn't even read into it."

Very good point, most people probably don't pay much attention to that aspect of your nick, and thus, don't "get" it.

Konichiwa! Sometimes I wish I had a more vivid imagination... I mean, how do you guys come up with these? ;)

I like Konichiwa, Locutus of Board

We weren't talking about bedside manners GF. :p

Only thing about my nick is that I am pegged for a Trek fanatic.

I do like it, don't get me wrong, but a fanatic likes Voyager.

I have started watching it, and getting into it, but it was suck.

I never got into DS9 either, but when the re-runs play daily around here I may

try to catch some.

I've been to a couple of BBS'es on the web and nobody has bogarted this nick.

Don't know why I'm suprised, but I would have thought other Trek fans would have thought of it.

Locutus of Borg. This is a bulletin board, Locutus of Board.

I did have a name on AT before LOB, but I'm leaving that be. I hated it.

Urinal Mint always cracked me up.

Also Shabby, Synthetic Humanoid Assembled for Battle and Basic Yardwork, or something like that ... pretty creative

Wow, thanks AndrewR it's always nice to be noticed. When I first joined here my handle was ihaveherpes but the moderators locked that account claiming that this was more of a "family BBS" and my nick was not appropriate. I still use it over at Arstechnica(but I pretty much only lurk there)

IBhacknU is great... and yes I got it right away.

I really like the nick GirlFriday... there was a 40's era movie called "His Girl Friday"... it wasn't a bad movie at all.

Paulson is very original (*NOT*)

Is there any way to look at all 30000+ names registered? There might be some really cool names here that just aren't active anymore.

Hey TRP...

Is your name actually a typo? I always read it as "Total Reflected Power," until one day I noticed there was no "l" in it. Damn, you must have felt like a moron.

Total Refected Power,

WHOA. I didn't even notice it was missing the l until you pointed that out. I guess sometimes we just naturally read things the correct way. ;)

I never thought refected was a typo. Refected is a word. Yes, even without the l. I always read it for what it SAID, refected. Refected, for those who do not know, means "refreshed." I thought your name had something to do with restored power or something. Hmmmm....

Viper/Balt: Yea I have heard that before. No one notices it until I mention it. Funny huh?

I don't feel that stupid. It is a reminder that no one is perfect, as hard we might try. ;)
