I have about ten thousand laser cut 80mm and 92mm fan grilles. I like collecting stuff like that. One day, my attic will collapse into my garage.

FTW. We don't keep anything we don't use with any regularity. Keeps the junk at an almost non-existent level.

Any computer parts, no matter how old, and boxes. Big, small, decorated product packaging, massive regular cardboard, and all the associated packaging goodies inside. I've had two black super-size trash bags full of packing peanuts.

I haven't played any of my Avalon Hill games except for Diplomacy in the past ten years, but I still can't sell them. I LOVE the way they look.

I save a lot of scraps of wood & miscellaneous bolts/screws/washers etc. I'll rip a bunch of them out of something before I take it to the dump. I can't count the number of times I've needed either.

Milk cartons.
I collect all the milk cartons after we finish them so I can fill them with water and take them on the next shooting outing.
I also collect old computer hardware for the same purpose.

Bread ties that come with cables.

I always think that I will find a use for it someday... but I never do.

Nothing. I'm a bit of a pack rat and have trouble throwing stuff away because you never know when you might need it, but I'm not excited by any of it.

I used to be a lot like what's posted in this thread. I saved every little DC fan I could, if someone was throwing out a PC or any little device and it had a fan in it i'd take it apart just for the fan. Boxes, save em all, who knows when I'm going to ship or need them to move? Every Computer part, sound cards, video, all saved. Every stick of ram or CPU (neato!). Recently I went through everything and tossed it all. I keep one box of parts ill actually be able to use, everything else gets trashed. heatsinks, fans, etc.

Also used to save every bread tie/plastic clip, wire ties, same as others. Used to save all the sauce/mustard from Chinese food delivery.

I get excited over old vintage masks! Like the latex Halloween masks from the 70s/80s by Don Post, Be Something Studios, and Cesar.

Been collecting for years. It's great b/c people sell them on eBay for $10, but in my eyes they're priceless.
