Name a movie that should have a sequel made?

Yo,
Name some good movies for which you'd love to see a sequel made? Or prequel, as the case may be, and why.

A couple of my picks for movies to have sequels:
1. Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension.
Reteam Jeff Goldbloom, Peter Weller, Ellen Barkin, John Lithgow, and Tommy Perfect!

2. Big Trouble in Little China
Kurt Russell and Kim Catrall with Hong Kong martial arts and the usual slapstick humor.

<< Battlefield Earth >>

ROFL. It was painful enuff to try and watch the original all the way thru.

[*]Jeepers Creepers

definetly not Jeepers Creepers unless they dont screw it up like they did with the original movie

how about Leon 🙂 a movie about the girl

I have no ideas about sequals, but what about spin offs?

Sci-Fi porn:

Jar-Jar (Binks) does Jalalabad.

<< Battlefield Earth >>

I second that but not to see a sequel or prequel. The next release should be the one that starts with "Fooled you! THIS is the real (non-suck) version!" 😉

But I'd like to see production of the fourth Indy movie hurried. 2004?!? Damnit, some of us might not live that long! 😀

Johnny Cool definitely deserves a sequel. I never did understand the first movie, so maybe if they made a second it would explain the first.

Contact

Fifth Element would be good, but same about the story...

Waiting on the Matrix sequels and the Star Wars prequels.

The Hobbit

eh? As in a story between The Hobbit and LOTR? I dunno what one could say. Besides, I wouldn't trust anyone besides Tolkien's reincarnation to touch the Middle Earth stories.

Nice choice pcmodem, when I read the thread title Buckaroo Bonzai jumped to mind immediately and upon opening the thread it's your first choice.

Some others:

The Sting - Getting Newman and Redford together always works. Team them up as older con-men pulling a more modern scam.

The Usual Suspects - What becomes of Verbal Kint?

Silence of the Lambs - Expunge Hannibal from the memory banks of everyone on Earth, get Jodie Foster back and do a decent sequel.

Old Yeller - Yeller comes back from the dead and gets revenge. Steven King could do the script.

The Alamo - It'd be a bitch because everyone died, but still... 😉

how bout an addition to a series, like die hard?

theres just something about a half drunk irish cop wreaking havoc across a major U.S. city.

i can see the title now: Die Hard 4: Die Already

BTW, i second the usual suspects vote. i want to know what happened to keyser soze.

another good sequel nominee: The Boondock Saints
