NOLF2. SOF2. AVP2. JK2. All of the titles are old, but each has something to bring to the table.

+1 to Serious Sam....I really need to get the second one. The first was absolutley enthralling to play CO-OP with a few friends on the LAN.

SOF/SOF2, System Shock 2, those are great titles too.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Wolfenstein: ET. Painkiller was really fun from what I played of the demo of it.

I recently bought NOLF and NOLF 2 off the FS/FT forums for really cheap. The graphics look pretty dated, but the games are still loads of fun. RtCW is also a great, straightforward FPS game. If you liked CoD, maybe you should play MoHAA and the expansions. The gameplay and graphics are a bit older but the games are still fun.

Tribes Vengeance is kind of dissappointing in mp thanks to Vivendi baling out on support, but it's still pretty cool and has a fun single player campaign with a lot of variety. Should be able to find it for $10 or less now, too.

And believe it or not, the original Battlezone is still good enough looking and great fun as a challenging single player. There's texture updates too.

My other suggestions are already pretty well covered here :)
