Most you guys aren't naming midgets, you're naming dwarfs.

I know. I've made that point here several times. I just don't think people care. Dwarves are just a joke to most people. They aren't to me, achondroplasia runs in my family. My grandma, uncle, and cousin were all dwarves.

The LPA disagrees with the above definitions, though. Dwarfism is defined as being of short stature (4'10" or shorter). They are of two main types, proportionate and disproportionate dwarfism. http://www.lpaonline.org/resources_faq.html

He was the founder of a great organization, the Little People of America. My grandma was friends with him and his wife, met them at LPA national meetings.

I can honestly say that if he was in a movie, it was going to be guaranteed I was going to like it :) He was in a lot of those "stupid comedy" movies of the 70's and 80's. My favorite was when he played the farting police commisioner in "Night Patrol".
