Well, many more people know about it now that a few years ago, but I am still astonished by how many people haven't seen Boondock Saints. One of the best action movies of all time.

The Taking of Pelham One Two Three: 70's crime drama about a hijacked subway car. Its very much dated but I think older NYC folks here (there has to be some here!) may dig it.
The Warriors: fun movie that got some recent press a couple of years ago because of the videogame..which wasn't too bad!
Jacob's Ladder: Don't know if its underrated but I watched it for the first time recently and liked it.
Darkman: Well I liked it anyways..

Seriously? I couldn't get through it - the screenplay was just absurd to the point it made the movie unwatchable for me. I almost never turn off a movie, but I turned that one off.

Although some of the movies on that list are just crap and should stay underrated IMHO. such as a scanner darkly
You mean the guy who basically became famous because of Demolition Man and the Blade trilogy? Passenger 57? The Fan? Snipes is in no way an underrated actor. He's actually not that great, but they find roles they can build around him, instead of him fitting himself into them.
