It cures razor burn instantly, and removes the burning sensation from Nair after use.

But I have (had) hair around my nipples! It's highly inconvenient to not be able to use this miracle product there. I read the instructions, saw the warning you speak of, and decided to take the risk anyway. I'm not blaming NAIR for my stupidity.

Oh, I do too. I'm no guerrilla man but I've got my fair share of hair on my chest. If I ever were to use nair again I would just suck up the pain and tweeze any close to the nips.

I've used nair for men before, and it doesn't burn. Not my skin, nipples, or balls, though I may be sterile now.

Also, it doesn't work on facial hair, except maybe if you grow out a ridiculously long beard. It doesn't work on short hair.

it won't... and it'll come in itchier than it would with a razor.

my advice = save up and get laser hair removal.

The bottle of NAIR was under 10 bucks, not a high price for an experiment.

Here's today's update, still a little red, no burning any more though. The test site, which was on my lower stomach, above my belly button, is still really red though. I should have NAIR'd around it since it was already treated. No hair regrowth yet, but its only been 12 hours. Remaining hairs are longer as expected for 12 hours of growth.

Laser removal is outside of my budget, way outside. I could buy razors for the next few decades for laser removal would cost, so that's likely not an option. Might be willing to try waxing this summer though, depends.

Why are you guys getting rid of your body hair?

Not all of it, just certain unsightly areas. We demand women remove, at minimum, underarm, leg, and any facial hair, to say nothing of arm and pubic regions.

Well, I suppose if you're doing it for a purpose... heh.

there are payment options. they'll work with you. i recommend it. my gf doesn't have a lot of money at all and she got it done and it's awesome... she hasn't needed to shave in months.

Try putting some on your face... I always wanted to see if it would work as a beard buster.

I've used nair and magic shave and neither came remotely close to working. My beard is incredibly thick and coarse so others might have different results. I remember reading an article about nair formulated for men, and someone asked the CEO if they'd ever come out for one with facial hair. The CEO basicly said it was absolutely impossible since facial hair is too thick and facial skin to sensitive to effectively make something that would work.

edit: If it's burning your skin bad you're probably leaving it on too long for your skin btw.

Those who says laser costs too much... WOW, think about the costs of shaving, nair. TIME! The hassle of it growing back, so you get like 2 weeks of clean, then a few weeks of inbetween where its growing back in but too short to shave.

I'm looking at options right now actually. I've done the nair thing, I have a few patches on my back. I'd like to do my arms, chest, back, butt, stomache, and legs. I've got nice skin and am fairly tan. If I wasn't so hairy, I KNOW I'd look significantly better in my birthday suit. Now that I'm almost 30 and need to look my best, I'm actually considering having it done and just dealing with the cost. I don't want to be shaving all the time, using nair, spending an hour a night every week doing it, etc.

Same reason I had lasik done. I'd rather just pay the up front cost and be free of all the hassle.

Threads like this make me thank my lucky stars I grew up in the days when fathers would tell their kids to eat their vegetables because they would put hair on their chest.

don't forget the added cost to your water bill for all the hours you spent in the shower shaving

yea it does. I'm not a hairy guy, but like all guys, I have some hair on my ass. I nair it, and it does come back itchier. But i put up with it because it is less painful than waxing, and lasts longer than shaving. As for my chest, i use a hair trimmer at the shortest setting (almost bare). I wouldnt want a hairless chest anyways

The acceptance of porn into the mainstream has women expecting men all to be buff and hairless these days. I long for the 70's when the more hair you had the more ladies you had :D
