Nader Campaign Says It Qualifies for Funds

Campaign spokesman Kevin Zeese said Nader was able to make the request for matching funds two months earlier than he did in 2000, when he announced his candidacy at about the same time. Nader had raised only $198,000 by this time four years ago.

"We're doing better than last time despite the fear of the liberal intelligentsia," Zeese said. "And we're starting to establish ourselves as the only clear anti-war campaign."

So my question is...where is Nader getting his support and $$$ from? And why is he doing so well despite the left's suggestions for him to drop out?

I wish people would put things into perspective with Nader. You continue to hear things like "oh no! he will cost us the election!" or "he made Al Gore lose!". Republicans and Democrats don't seem to want to acknowledge one simple little fact: George Bush received several times the amount of Democrat votes than Nader got.

Not really a big deal. There have been no Heinz family members in the company since 1987, and she owns less than 4% of the company's stock.
