(Searching for link)...

Nader offered (on Wolfe Blitzer's CNN show today) to shred Bush on his policies and leadership....IF...the Democratic party would pay for it. Said he would not mention his own running or John Kerry.

What do you think? I think it would still send more votes to Nader.....not Kerry.

Comments?

But...I'm not so sure that voters would see the message...and then decide that Nader is the man?

That's just weird grandstanding on his part. I am trying hard to keep my respect for Ralph, but he ain't been helping much.

Is he talking about a TV spot or what?

It's an interesting deal. But there's nothing in it for the Dems though that I can see. Most people probably don't know what Nader looks like but the ones who do might be swayed in Nader's favor by this. It might make sense if near the end they coudl say Vote Democrat or Vote Kerry.

Nader needs to tell all the greens to vote Kerry... NOW.

And betray his party? He won't do it.

Said Bush was bad....and Kerry was the lesser of the two evils.

Nader is the Jesse Jackson of consumer protection advocacy, which is a semi-politically correct way of saying the same thing conjur did.

Now please excuse me while I go fix a stiff drink. After agreeing with conjur I feel a sudden need to sterilize my brain with alcohol. ;)

What Nader said about Gore in 2000 is equally true now (just substitute Kerry for Gore):

"If Gore cannot defeat the bumbling Texas governor with that horrific record, what good is he?"

This election couldn't be anymore gift-wrapped for the Dems than it has been, and they still might lose - simply amazing (as was Gore's 2000 debacle, which should've been another cakewalk of an election). But don't mind me; just keep with the 'brainwashed right-wingers' blather. It'd be a shame to see the Democrats actually learn something this time around.
