Bush has only lied to Congress, the American people and the world
Clinton lied under oath to a grand jury, he suborned perjury, he lied to his cabinet, he lied to the american people, he lied to his family, and he alone could have stopped the death of 3000 people on 9/11 if he had made the Gore Commission recommendations on Airport Safety law, and apprehended Bin Laden.

The 9/11 terrorists were already in th U.S when Bush took office, Clarke has already under oath stated that 9/11 could not have been prevented by Bush even if every single recommendation Clarke made to him had been implemented on Jan 26th, 2001.

liberals lie, ignore facts, distort and rewrite history, and generally accept no responsibility for their role in allowing terrorists to repeatedly attack the U.S. and U.S. interests.

poppycock - if you can't get clinton for lying under oath as a high crime and[or] misdemeanor, you are muckraking if you are claiming you'll get bush for snowing us on the WMDs.

I was wondering how the hell nader was getting all his money - damn you heart surgeon!!!! ;)

What are you new here? People like Dave and conjur among other liberals here are chock full of hate. They dole it out all day on these boards. This ticks off those of us who don't subscribe to their hardcore liberal fear mongering. It's just fuel for our fire.

Huh? Dave is just a loser who thinks the world is out to get him. I don't see any hate from conjur's posts at all. While the board's best conservative - Cad - is quite reasonable and debates with civility.

That still doesn't answer my question as to why heartsurgeon is so spiteful towards liberals in general.

I can't explain why he is, but some of the posts here just tick me off. I try to keep cool, but sometimes I lose it when I see so much crap being posted that I can't stand it anymore. 80% of the time, it's liberals who are ticking me off. 50% of that 80% is Dave. Conjur is simply turning into a fear monger like Dave. He posts only bad news and anti-bush stuff. Granted, people only post things that conform to what they believe in, but sometimes it all goes too far.

I think Heart is full of hate so much because people personally attack him so much. They dance around the point he is trying to make and use logical fallacies to discredit what he says. I know this is frustrating because it's happened to me many times. Trust me, it's tough being on the right side of zero on this board. You feel pretty lonely lots of times.

I believe that calling for President Bush to be impeached is utterly uncivil.

I believe that saying I have no right to my opinions or should be banned because you don't agree with the facts I present is uncivil.

I believe the actions of William Jefferson Clinton were about as uncivil as you could get in the White House.

I don't hate anyone, and in fact i'm probably more liberal in my actions than most of the self-proclaimed liberals on this forum.

I hold conservative viewpoints.
I pay gobs of taxes, i give lots to charity, i support my community.
I provide care to indigents and those that have no insurance or money routinely.
I have real friends that are white, black, christians, jews and muslims, democrats, republicans, and socialists.
I make the world a better place every day.
I have personally helped thousands of people to live a better life.

I suspect the loudest liberal voices on this forum have done litterally nothing to actually help anyone other than themselves.

Prove me wrong. I really hope you can.

Heartsurgeon offers balance and new direction, that is what I see...

Sometimes conjur posts very interesting stuff, nobody answeres so what is the point..
The barter is what most desire, so give them what they want.

Well said, heartsurgeon. Personally, I generally (though not always) find your commentary providing needed balance around here as well as rather illuminating.

I think John Dean made an interesting case that he could quite rightly be impeached. That's a legal discussion, and if Bush commited an impeachable offense, I don't think calling for his impeachment is uncivil. I think letting it slide and NOT calling for his impeachment would be abandoning our civil rights and responsibilities.
I believe that saying I have no right to my opinions or should be banned because you don't agree with the facts I present is uncivil.
I agree. The good news about our Constitution and our laws is, you have the right to express your opinion. It helps your case if you can justify it with a few facts.
I believe the actions of William Jefferson Clinton were about as uncivil as you could get in the White House.
I think Clinton disgraced the dignity of the Presidency with his sexual behavior, and I know he broke the law when he committed purjury. Considering that Bush's lies to congress and the citizens of this country has resulted in hundreds of American deaths and thousands of American casualties with deceitful excuses about why we went into Iraq, while simultaneously reducing our ability to go after the real enemy, Bin Laden, in Afghanistan, and running up a half trillion dollar deficit along the way, I think a good case can be made that he was at least as uncivil as Clinton

... But that's just MHO. The good new is, I'm as entitled to that as you are. :)
I hold conservative viewpoints.
Then, if you're one of those who bashes "tax and spend liberals," I have to ask you how conservative it is to spend so much without providing some means, through taxation or otherwise, to pay for it? In case you haven't checked lately, that has a lot of congressional conservatives scratching their heads, too. :Q

Oops... Better watch that bleeding heart. Somebody may mistake you for a closet liberal.
I suspect the loudest liberal voices on this forum have done litterally nothing to actually help anyone other than themselves.

I won't toot my own horn, but I'm a liberal, and I really hope I don't come close to that cliched stereotype. If it helps, I could introduce you to some of my very liberal, very successful, very tax paying, intelligent and compassionate friends.

If your heart's really that good and kind, you don't have much to worry about. Real conservatives just think a little longer and want more hard facts before coming to the same right conclusion about what really IS right. Those morons who stick to some ideology that lines their own pocket or keeps them in power, regardless of empirical right and wrong are hardly conservative in any true sense of the word.

I'm against impeaching Bush because the process paralyzes the country for almost a year. There is an election coming up in November which could achieved the same results.

BTW if Nader wants to get rid of Bush why is he potentially taking votes way from Kerry by running for president?
