Typical far leftist BS.

Where in that article does anyone from the NAACP make any statement that even remotely resembles that thread title?

It's nice to see a good post taken off topic by a few arrogant people with stories about how they're sooooo smart![]()

The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.
"Michelle Laws, an official in the local NAACP and an adjunct professor at North Carolina Central University, said the classes create educational systems "based on superiority.
Intelligence, she said, includes more than just academic aptitude"

Still looking for where it mentions minorities having anything to do with this story...

Guess you are a product of the public school system then. It's not there in black and white but pretty close.

No, it's not in there, period. You proved yourself wrong with your post that I quoted.
"The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights of all persons" NOT ALL MINORITIES.
"Intelligence, she said, includes more than just academic aptitude" Duh? This has nothing to do with race either. She's talking about how people can be smart in other ways other than school work.
They were talking to a professor who happened to be in the NAACP. You saw the letters NAACP and assumed it was racial. If anything is a product of poor schooling, it's your reading comprehension.
Since when has the NAACP been seeking equality, not since MLK got shot. They are seeking favoritism and entitlement

teachers who are actually proficient and qualified in differentiation won't be settling for the paltry wages of public schools. So now you've got overwhelmed teachers segregating IQ's in a class, trying to remember which table gets the crayons and which table gets the calculators.

I don't disagree with your assessment of the NAACP nor this program, but I stand my claim that you are reading more into it than what is there.

I think her affiliations to a college and the NAACP are simply mentioned to show that she is, at least in some small way, qualified to make an analysis of the program. Had the author left out the NAACP part, you would have never even made the assumption.
It is quite possible that she really does mean that it's unfair to minorities, but from the articles alone, it is a stretch to assume that.
I often feel that the NAACP and "civil rights leaders" are too quick to assume that there is racism going on, and it's only fair to call it when the opposite occurs.

wow amazing.
So they would rather have everyone on on class and split them up there (are they going to have more then one teacher in the class?) then have them in separate classes.
I was in one of these type of classes in about the 6th grade. We had everyone in one big classroom (was neat we had cots for naps, bean bags sit in and read, books all over if we wanted to read A TV if we didn't want to participate in class). The class had a wide spectrum of students. some that could read and some that couldn't. same thing with math.
We had like 6 teachers that would teach the groups. homework was optional. they would preach grades were NOT important. But learning how to talk and treat each other was.
I have a feeling more and more places are going to be heading toward that. Reducing the classes for the few kids that are smart (actually i don't think they are smart. just go to there full potential) is going to backfire in 5-10 years. not just for the kids themselves but for the Country.
