have a slew of n00b questions to ask u l337 ppl:

First off, a case mod question:

What do i need when i am installing a window kit? i assume i need some sort of cutting tool, but i don't know what. Can someone explain to me what i need and an approximate price?

Also, can any case be modded (window kit)? How about an antec sx830 or 1030?

Computer Questions:

Would i be better off buying this: Athlon XP 1700+ & ECS K7S5A $169
Or should i buy this: Athlon 1.4GHz Boxed + Shuttle AK12 MB $129
Or this: SoyoTek SY-P4S mobo w/P4 1.7GHz CPU $249
or this: Iwill KK266 Plus/Athlon 1.4GHz $179.00
or mayb this: SoyoTek SY-K7V Dragon+ mobo/Athlon XP 1700+ OEM CPU $239

I know the shuttle mobo doesnt support ddr, but how about the ecs? And how reliable is ecs compared soyo compared to shuttle?

And also, what would be the best case to get for around $80-60 (w/o tax, including shipping)?

And will i notice a significant difference from going from ata66 to ata 133? (an old mobo to a new one)??

Or am i in the wrong forum?
