n00b question on dual monitors

This may seem like a dumb question but I just want to make sure.

I have 2 VGA monitors, that I want to run at the same time. If I get a video card with a DVI and a VGA out and get a DVI->VGA adapter can I run both monitors at the same time? Or does it only work with DVI -OR- VGA?

Make sure your new card is a dual-head and then you will be good to go.

Or-

Keep your existing AGP card and add a cheapo PCI vid card for your second monitor.

yes that will work. I actually have a 9600 on another computer with dualies.
