n00b question - how far can my Q6600 + P5N-E SLI go on a $40 Tiger cooler?

This is the first PC I've built. It consists of a Q6600 on an ASUS P5N-e SLI motherboard, inside an Ultra Aluminus Case. (Yeah, I go to Tigerdirect for parts :D) if it matters any, I'm also running an XFX GeForce 8600GT and Corsair RAM with little yellow heat spreaders.

I was wondering how far I could go in terms of overclocking with this rig -- is 3.2GHz even going to be possible with the board I've got?

Thanks a lot for your help.

I'm rather disturbed, it's your first PC you've ever built yet you don't even know the parts you bought to build it with.... Corsair does not have any memory with YELLOW heat spreaders either, CRUCIAL TECHNOLOGY does. I question the rest of the parts you purchased too...

So I have horrible memory... Geez, I'm not an idiot. I just can't remember things very well, plus I haven't seen the parts since I bought them, which was two says ago.

Anyway, I called the person who I was with, who remembers things better, and it's a Zerotherm cooler.

Sorry for my uninformed post... You know, it does sound like Crucial RAM. My bad

Should have bought a $40 Xigmatek S-1283 or a $40 OCZ Vendetta 2.

Those would take you to cloud 9.

3.2 With a Q6600 is doable on most any board that supports the CPU ..

Hard to make suggestions untill you get it put together and see what happens..
