N00b question??about half life and DOD

Do I have to have HalfLife first before I can play DOD?

Please someone let me know, I have DOD installed, but I don't see and EXE. I'm pretty sure I need HalfLife first.

CS is a mod for half-life.

just as DOD is.

All you need is half-life installed. and then install DOD.

It is possible to get the retail cs and then mod it for DOD. you just change the dir that you install into from the HL dir to you main CS dir.
