like, do I just change the processor speeds? Do I change the voltage at all??

How much colling do I have to add in order to stop the comp from frying??

appreciate the input please............

Well...you might want to start with a decent cooling HSF....then you can adjust the FSB or Multiplyer......try different combination between FSB and Multiplyers.....get it to run staple....then you can start thinking about adjust vcore......don't push the vcore too high...otherwise you might fry your cpu(this just happened to me.....:()....

Hi,

As you raise the fsb, you'll reach a point where your system won't be stable unless you raise your vcore and vdimm voltages too. My XP1600+ is at 150 mhz fsb and I have the vcore at +.025 and my vdimm is at+.2. So if you reach an fsb speed that is unstable, then try raising your vdimm voltage first and then your vcore. I think people will be able to help you better if you list your system details. As for cooling, you're gonna need more than the stock HSF to be able to overclock safely.

Please put up your system details.
