Anyways, that borrowing against the 401 sounds like a good plan. I knew you could do that but it never rang a bell with me. I've been looking for these 0% APR credit cards to transfer my balance to. I applied for one couple months ago, and the 0%APR for transfered balances expires in august of 2003. Which will be the time this one income family becomes a two income family again. Maybe at that time I'll look into borrowing from the 401. I just goot another Credit card junk mail for 0%APR until April of 2004. Although tempting, I don't want to ruin my credit by applying for a credit card every 3 months.
