N Ghost problem

Anyone had this problem, I am getting "cannot write to write-protected disk". I zero-filled format both my 7.2k IDE yet I still get the same message when I try to backup with N ghost. Had no problem with the drives just last month.

I did a update on my mobo's bios(for 160G hard drives) but have gone back so I am clueless as to the problem.

Edit: Basically, system was working fine, then I updated mobo bios and the drive on the ata100 pci card stops working.
Does a mobo's bios change how a pci drive card works?

Are you trying to image hard drive back onto itself?

Is there another hard drive or partition?

Go to symantec.com and look up that error message for ghost.. they will have something on it.
