If you do this, I hope you do NOT allow retailers to "auction" off their stuff.

MAN that pisses me OFF. Sometimes they don't even pretend it's a auction, just BUY NOW.

Get your OWN damn site to sell your crap I say!

the only reason i feel a name is important, cause look at all large companies... yahoo, google, ebay....how do people think of theese

Well we kind need to know what this is about? What is the idea about. If we dont know any of this how are we to help you with a name.

gl with ur site, though there are many that have tried to do what ebay has done and have failed. gui and effective searching are two VERY important things on a bidding site, along with trust

How about ubid.com... wait...

Maybe surplusauction.com... oh, sorry...

Have you tried onsale.com? Oh, fudge...

not to burst your bubble, but this is a pipe dream unless you have a solid business plan. Trust me, I've looked into it myself.

Since you don't even have a name, i assume that you don't have anything laid out yet. My advice is to think it over, and get a real grip on the situation, do you really have the resources? money, talent, lawyers, and luck? fail to plan is planning for failure.
