help. i'm getting no sound out of my Asus a7n8nx nforce2. all my drivers are installed correctly. everything shows up under device manager and i've installed the latest nforce drivers. i'm plugging my speakers into the green port (also tried all the other inputs) and no sound. it seems like everything is ok, but no sound comes out whatsoever. when i play music, the sound graph comes out on the nvidia sound control panel. help! thanks

Check to make sure your speakers are working first with another source (portable CD player or Walkman.) Rule out the basics. Open up the nVidia nForce control panel and click the Speaker Setup tab, make sure Analog is checked and the Listening Mode is correct for your speakers. Then click the Applications tab, click Sound Volume and verify the the Wave and Master Volume sliders are turned "up."

Report back with your findings, OS (Windows XP, etc) and nForce Control Panel version.
