mytouch4g/android keyboard

I reset something by accident and now my touch keyboard changed. The keyboard was a qwerty keyboard but 1 2 3 were on the first line, 4 5 6 on the second, and 7 8 9 on the third. Any idea on how i can get this back?

long press in an area where you enter text (messages, search bar, etc) and it will bring up a menu for "input options" where you can switch between the other installed keyboards

If i remember correctly should be this
settings > Tex input and options > htc touch keyboard > keyboard layout > querty/xt9...

That worked. You would think it would under the setting and touch options or something, but it only gives you options on the keyboard type, but it does not allow you to change to swype. Thanks!
