there's thrust but no drag?

not drag, you mean lift

it'll have lift as it accelerates normally
the engine pushes on the air, not on the ground

Dammit, it's already screwed up. They're doing plane on a conveyor belt. But what about plane on a treadmill, dammit??!?!! Now we'll never know!!!!!!!



They defined the problem with the conveyor belt's speed being equal to the plane's takeoff speed.

doesn't that depend what kinda plane they're using? I guess I'll find out in a few hours.

those models have a pretty short take off length, it might be ok
