To add more to the thread...

I think all shows at some point "jump the shark"

It's really not possible to be good forever.
MST3K never jumped the shark. It had the plug pulled. :(
There will always be bad movies.

Mythbusters may have jumped the shark, but I still wanna jump Kari Byron. That is all.
Yes, definitely. And based on what I've seen in the show, I have reason to believe she would be somewhat noisy. Or so I'd imagine. Pondering.....pondering........

Ok, I'm back now.
Unfortunately she seems a bit too "California-y," to the point where I think she would get annoying after awhile. But yes, do want.

Polish a turd: Well sure, if it lacks a hard surface, it can't be polished. However:
1) Obtain turd
2) Bake in oven
3) Fumigate house
4) Polish turd
5) ...
6) Poop again

Jamie is kind of an asshole and a buzzkill, no matter how ridiculously experienced he is in EVERYTHING. Adam is a dork. Grant is annoying. Tory isn't bad and he's fucking awesome at making things. And Carrie's hot (although she doesn't really seem to do much except look cute).

They're definitely running low on things to test, but the show still has its spirit. I just wish they would blow more things up without it becoming Smash Lab (that show SUCKED; it was overdone AND the team was stupid).

Carrie is NOT HOT. I am busting the myth that she is hot.

Jesus, you need to get out more if you think she is hot.

Anyone like Prototype this? Saw the water slide machine last night, pretty cool.

I think both Dirty Jobs and Mythbusters are still very entertaining

Of course she's hot. Don't need to get out more to figure it out. Are you female, grohl? Just wondering.

Watching the turd polishing episode now - can't believe they're not allowed to say 'shit' or even 'crap'... what kind of puritan weirdos run that show? I swear I have heard the word 'crap' on childrens TV.

Bah, I like Jamie, if only for that reason. :D
I wish they didn't have to dumb it down so often. Too many of their "WARNING: Science Content" segments are stuff you'd normally learn in the "I have more than three functioning brain cells" grade of middle school science.
And I miss Scottie.

And this.

On a side note... how sweet would it be if they actually jumped a mother fucking shark.
