mySQL install probs...

I tried downloading the newest release of mySQL:
http://www.mysql.com/Downloads/MySQL-3.23/mysql-3.23.36-win.zip
After all the files have been uncompressed/installed, the installer crashes:

"The instructoin at "0x00000000" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read"."

Anyone else have this problem?
I've tried downloading it several times.
I havent yet found an alternate download site.
 
I just installed it myself today. The installer finishes it's job and then most probably is trying to bring up a explorer window to show it's contents and with W2K it doesn't seem to do it right..

Don't worry about it, just go ahead and start using it from the directory you installed it to. I haven't seen any problems with it so far..Regards
