Exactly.

Maybe sometimes you don't want to reconnect with old friends. Specially High school... I got a couple on my list but I totally avoid it.

I think in general myspace is ok, I don't spent a lot of time on it, but some people do. I got a co-worker who is totally addicted to it. Spends too much time on it while at work. He loves to gloat on how many friends his got on it and how many of them are "hot" lady friends... but he never actually hangs out with them its all over the computer only.

Well, if you aren't interested in finding old friends, why do you even care about a social networking site?

i didn't sign up for myspace until i discovered a lot of my favorite bands were on myspace, and basically announcing pre-sale tickets to their shows and what not on it. so i signed up so i can get the announcements. is that such a bad thing? i don't think so. who gives a sh!t...i can't believe you're putting in more than 2 seconds of though into this...

I gave in to.... :(

I've actually caught up with friends who found me who I haven't seen in years! It's ok I guess, I only check it when I get an email from myspace letting me know someone left me a message or something.
I think ppl like it cause you can post bulletins about upcoming events, check out upcoming bdays, leave pm's, checkout pics instead of emailing them out to everyone, etc...
I personally could care less, but with so many ppl who aren't tech savvy using it, I kinda get forced to use it. wierd
